Loosing weight so fast..... not Bueno!!!!

     As I mentioned in my last post (Monday, August 15, 2011), I started on that day a new routine and diet so I can start getting lean but to be able to keep most of my gains. But my weight started to drop rapidly after that:
* Sunday, August 14: 165 lbs
* Wednesday, August 17: 160.5 lbs
* Sunday, August 21: 160 lbs
* Wednesday, August 24: 157.5 lbs
*Sunday, August 28: 155.5 lbs

     Seeing this makes me feel very frustrated because after all that hard work trying to gain 30 + pounds seems to be a total waste. :-( The shirts and t-shirts that started to feel tight around chest, back, arms are no longer tight. Even though I'm happy that around my waist is getting back to normal. LOL. Been following my nutritionist instructions but apparently my body is retarded. Sooooooo today Monday, August 29, I started to change my diet but this time only eating three big meals a day instead of six meals like before. In between meals I'll be taking a protein shake. Also will be taking 10 grams of creatine instead of 5 grams of creatine daily.

     I really hope this stops my body of loosing weight, but also gain a little back again. Now for the routine part.... I started doing abs again after months of not doing any abs on August 15, and it was painful! Trying to do 1,000 abs is not easy! That day I was only able to do 450 at the gym and 50 more and the house, but had to stop because I got nasty cramps around my lower abs and wasn't able to move at least 10 minutes. So on my next two days of abs in that first week I was able to build up until finally on the Monday of the second week I was able to do a complete 1,000 abs workout. Very proud of myself for that! Also what was difficult for me to get back was the interval cardio workouts, but I started to building up and now I'm back doing 15 reps. Woohoo!!!!

     So this is my update.... it's a bitter sweet one, but I really hope my body starts responding so I can get ready for my next photoshoot.

It's been forever....but I'm finally here!!!!

Hey my readers.... it's been forever since my last post. Just have so much in mind that I didn't had time to sit and write on my blog. But let's get started. As you know back in April I got the great opportunity in working with my friend Michael Huitt from NYC. Back then, my weight was only 134 lbs... and I was shredded. After that I started to concentrate in bulking up a little bit, by changing my diet and workout routine. The goal that my friend Alexis told me was to reach 170 lbs. Two Sundays ago, I was able to reach the weight of 169.5 lbs. By Wednesday and this last Sunday I drop to 165.5 lbs.

Today I started a new routine and diet plan so I can start shredding again, but be able to keep my current weight. I have to eat 60 grams of protein per meal (chicken, certain fish, lean meats) and also very few carbs;  only limited to oats, sweet potatoes, and baked potatoes. Supplements that I'll be taking is creatine in my pre and post workout and a protein shake that I'll be taking with most of my meals so I can reach the 60g of protein I need to take each meal.

Now, my workout routine is very similar to what I was doing the past month or so...., but now I'm adding 3 days of abs and two days of interval cardio. This is my workout routine:
                                                      Monday: Chest (6 exercises, heavy)  & Abs
                                                      Tuesday: Legs (6 exercises, heavy)
                                                      Wednesday: Abs
                                                      Thursday: Shoulders (6 exercises, heavy) & Cardio
                                                      Friday: Back (6 exercises, heavy) & Abs
                                                      Saturday: Cardio
                                                      Sunday: Off

And the weigh in today is........

     Today is disappointing for me. My current weight is 150 lbs (153 lbs on Wednesday), so I lost 3 lbs since my last weigh in. Was looking forward in seeing a 155lbs, but didn't happen. :-( Well moving on.... still eating my 6 meals a day; breakfast being the biggest meal of all! Also taking my Serious Mass (weight gainer) with my breakfast, pre and post workout, and before going to bed.

     Also since Monday I started a new workout routine. From now on I'm working out 4 days a week, lifting heavy and doing 6 exercises per muscle.
                               * Day 1: Chest
                               * Day 2: Legs
                               * Day 3: Off
                               * Day 4: Shoulders
                               * Day 5: Back
                               * Day 6 & 7: Off

Is Sunday!!!!!!!!!!

Is finally Sunday and is time to weight myself again...... and the current weight for today is........ 150.5 lbs!!!!! Wow I went up 5 lbs from Thursday till today!!!!! Thanks SERIOUS MASS!!!! Everytime I drink you.... I just want to puke!!! LOL LOL But hey is helping me get the results. I definitely feeling that I'm gaining. Pants are starting to feel a bit tight and some shirts too. So that is all good. So happy! Woo hoo!!!

Oooops!!!!

So I completely for got to weight myself yesterday..... but is ok.... I weight myself today. I just gained back the pound I lost (145.5 lbs). Today I started to take Serious Mass.... it is a weight gainer shake that I have to drink 4 times a day! One scoop in the morning, half a scoop before working out, half a  scoop after, and finally another half a scoop in the evening. That thing is huge. Finished my breakfast plus that and feel like I'm about to explode. LOL and in just a few I'll be eating my second meal.... but oh well someone has to do it if I want to gain.

(Update) Weekly progress!!!!!

Update:

Yesterday I told Alexis that I didn't gain weight, but lost 1 lbs.... he said it was ok... now I have to increase the portions of my main meals and start taking Serious Mass (weight gainer 1200 calories) 2 1/2 servings a day. So this will help me gain mass fast. I guess I just reached the level that I have to work even harder to gain mass and expand my body frame. This week will try even harder to lift heavier. Wish me luck! ;-)

Morning readers! Here's this week update....on Wednesday my weight was 145.5 lbs; an increase of 5 lbs since last Sunday. Unfortunately today I checked my weight and the result is 144.5 lbs.... hmmmm what just happened? Is it time to shock the body? hmmmm I shall wait to what Alexis says to me. Will keep you updated on what will happen next.

Got my haircut today!!!!

Finally today I got my haircut!!!! Woohoo!!!! I feel purdy! I want to thanks my hairstylist Luisa for the wonderful haircut. So here is a pic I took today showing my new haircut, but also decided to take it shirtless so you can see my body progress. Tomorrow will be weighting myself... hopefully I'll keep gaining good weight. And talking about weight.... hmmmmm I'm hungry.

It's Week 5!!!!!!

Soooooooo... Is that day of the week again and very excited about it. During the week I was told to start checking my weight twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday). As you know last Sunday my weight was 138 lbs... on Wednesday my weight went up to 139lbs. Today I gained 2.5lbs more (141.5lbs). I'm so amazed how my body is gaining weight fast. And people are starting to notice I'm beginning to expand a little. I can feel it in the shirts I wear too. YAY!!!! Just feel fat. LOL But is ok... after I reach a weight goal of 155lbs to 160lbs, I'll start shredding so I'll be ready for my next photoshoot or photoshoots.

This week's workout has been Week A schedule; working out 7 days a week, lifting heavy, 4 sets.... I even hurt my lower back Wednesday while working out legs (must be careful), but was able to complete my workout. Today I'll be doing abs... so wish me luck in doing a good one. LOL

In other news.... I need a freaking haircut!!!! LOL I hope I get my hairstylist Luisa V to tell me when she is available this week so I can look purdy.

Week 4!

     Morning to all my readers! Hope everybody is doing well. So like I mentioned last week, I was frustrated because instead of gaining weight I lost weight; dropping my weight to 135 lbs. After writing the post, my friend Alexis (Nutritionist and Trainer) talked to me and decided to add to my diet a shitload of supplements to help me  gain weight. So now I'm taking creatine monohydrate before and after working out, arginine, milk thistle, Omega 3:6:9, Myofiber, and soon will be back on halovar and testosterone (don't have the money right now).
     Also Alexis told me to start working out in the evenings instead of going in the morning.... I used to workout an hour and half later after my first big meal. So.... after making all this changes finally the weighting day has arrived and happy to say I GAINED some pounds.... from 135 lbs last week to a now 138 lbs. YAY!!!!!! This week I worked out on Week B schedule, still training to increase weighs per week and less reps. I'm so ready for next week and hopefully I can buy the halovar and testosterone supplements I need to continue my transformation.
      I really want to be ready for the summer and be able to have another great shoot with my photographer friends Michael Huitt and Desi Hyter. Well time for me to go.... tonight working out my back, biceps, and abs.

Week Three

Good Afternoon my fellow followers!!!! Another week has ended and today is my weighting day..... and the result is...... I lost one freaking pound!!! From 136 lbs last week to 135 lbs..... WHAT THE F**K!!!!! Well trying not to get frustrated about that..... let's move what I did during the week. So this week been working out a muscle group per day (Week A). Still eating big portions of food, taking my mass peak (weight gainer), and lifting as heavy as I can go.

So next week is Week B! Let's how everything goes and see if I can gain a few pounds! TTYL!!!

Week Two

     Good Morning my awesome readers!!!! Today marks the end of week two and that means; today is weighting day!!!! Woo hoo!!!!!! LOL Well I just weighted myself and went from 133 lbs to 135.5 lbs. That means it's finally happening I'm gaining some weight. Still eating more foods, taking my Mass Peak (weight gainer), and lifting as heavy I can lift. Week B of my routine was interesting.... Monday and Tuesday was off from the gym, Wednesday I worked out only Chest (Bench Press), Shoulders (Military Press), and Triceps (Triceps Rope Pull Down & Dips with a 45 lbs plate strapped to my waist). For each exercise I did 3 sets; I increased weights per set. Thursday was off again and Friday I did Legs.... then Saturday I did 2 exercises for Back and 2 for Biceps. Also worked on my abs on those three days. Today Sunday is my day off. but getting ready for next week. Will do my best to lift heavier and get in better shape. 
     Well I can't wait to see more definition on my body and see if I'll be photo ready for upcoming shoots. There's  a big chance I'll be working again with NYC photographer Michael Huitt and also CA photographer Desi Hyter, this summer. Hope I can do this. Wish me luck.

Week One of New Routine....

Happy Easter to all my readers! So Week One of my new routine is over.... Now 5 more weeks to go. During this week (a.k.a., Week A) I worked out each muscle per day (7 days). Working out without taking a pre-workout supplement seems to feel a bit difficult, but I still manage in doing a great workout. For each exercise I will only do 3 sets (4 to 6 reps); lifting heavy and resting in between of 2 minutes. Been eating more foods since I started my new diet and was expecting to start gaining weight..... unfortunately I lost 3 lbs :-( ...... maybe I need to ask my friend Alexis if it's normal to loose at first before starting to gain. So my current weight this morning was of 133 lbs. 

Now for next week (Week B) I will have a few days off and will be working out various muscle groups on the same day. Will let you know how everything goes and see if I finally start gaining some weight.

New Workout Routine and Diet!

So....after enjoying a week off from working out and the diet....it is time to go back to it 100%. Now that I have no photo shoots schedule for this month and the next, this will give me time to start bulking up in size. But when I say bulking up it means add lean muscle mass, keeping the leanness of what I already have. Yesterday I was chatting with my friend Alexis (Trainer/Nutritionist) and we were discussing my new meal plan and workout routine. Today I start my new diet plan in which is going to consist in eating tons of food, more carbs, protein, and some good fats in there too. Is going to be a little bit tough to eat so much food on the first meal of the day, but that is why I'm starting my diet today, before I head to the gym on Monday. Talking about the gym, I start a new routine in which is going to last for 6 weeks. Is going to consist of 2 rotating schedules, Week A; workout per muscle group (7 Days) and Week B; 3 Days working out. My current weight is 136 lbs.... I will be posting more often about my progress each week and take some pics too.

Here I'm posting two edited images from my recent photoshoot. Hope you like them. Also, after working out and dieting very hard since last August.... my trainer/nutritionist told me to take an entire week off from working out and to enjoy food. I know this is going to be a little bit weird for me... but I will enjoy my time off. Next week will be starting a complete intense workout routine and a very different diet. No detail, but I think is going to hurt. LMAO.

Hello my friends! Here is a quick update about my photoshoot with Michael Huitt here in Cocoa Beach, FL. Yesterday was a long day.... we started our day in the beach before sunrise. It was cold but with hard work we were able to get really nice shots. I'm very happy with the results of our first day and want to thanks Michael for giving me the chance to work with him. He is a really great photographer and definitely recommend him. Also want to thank model Fernando that is here helping with the shoot.

Today we will have another long day shooting, mostly indoors. Very excited about that. Stay tuned for future updates and new pics coming soon to my portfolio.

What I've been doing all this time?

Hello my friends! Hope you are all doing well. So what I've been doing all this time? Well I've been really busy trying to find a job.... but after so long finally landed a good job in retail. Also been working out hard at the gym. Struggling in gaining some weight; my trainer told me to switch to a lean mass gainer. Currently my weight is 137.5 lbs and still eating 6 meals a day.

Now what's happening with my modeling path? Well I'm very excited to say, that in the first week of April I will be working with New York photographer Michael Huitt. He will be visiting the Orlando area and we already chatted to work together. I know this is going to be a shoot.... and so looking forward for this.

So I've been training as hard as possible at the gym to make sure I look photo ready.... now I'm wondering that I really need a good tan. LOL Well thanks for stopping by and I will be keep you all posted on everything.

My new blog!

     Hey my blog followers! Welcome to my new blog. I decided to delete my old blog and start fresh in this new year. I believe this is going to be a great new year to be positive and to think clearly of every decisions one can make. Now... what I have been doing all this time since my last blog? Well... I'm still working out hard to get in better shape; I've been doing for six weeks the Push and Pull workout. Oh my it was intense but so good. Now I'm back to my original routine and following my friend's Alexis suggestions so I can keep moving forward.
     Back in December 2010, I got the chance to have an appointment with Deco Models in South Beach... I was at first nervous, but it went great. The owner like my look and want to represent me. Only problem is that I need to update my portfolio. Since then, been trying to network as much as possible to see if I can book with photographers that are interested in working with me to update the photographer's portfolio and mine. At the moment I have three photographers that are interested in working with me, so that is a great sign. But for the mean time I'll continue to concentrate in getting in better shape.

Finally an Update!!!!!


      I know! I know what are you thinking.... why it took me so long to update my blog? Well the reason it has taken me so long is because I want to post the images from my recent photoshoot with Jeffrey Rich.

     Patience is a virtue and the photos are coming soon!!  LOL But for the mean time I'll be posting two images from the shoot. They are not edited, but serve as a tease.  

     The shoot was amazing and had a lot of fun doing it. You will see a different Sergio C in body and attitude. Progress has been incredible!!
     The shoot was held in Jeffrey's studio at Oviedo, FL on October 12, 2010. Before the shoot I was able to get photo ready thanks to my hair stylist Luisa Valdes from Lunatic Fringe Salon and also for Alexis (ANS) to push me hard in the day before to make sure I look my very best.


      I'm still working out, getting as lean and toned as possible before I start gaining lean muscle mass.

     Since the day after the photoshoot, my workout has changed, diet still the same, but eating larger portions.  Beginning to see that my weight is starting to go up. During the last week of November, I will start a more aggressive workout that is going to he
     Patience, sacrifice and lots of hard work are paying off!!  I'll keep you posted!! 

My First Tear Sheet!!!!!

Last month I received my very first tear sheet at the September 2010 Issue of the Orlando Style Magazine. I was one of the nine models chosen to compete for the Model Search of the Month of September. I REALLY want to thank to everybody who voted for me everyday and for all your support. Unfortunately after being the model with most votes, I wasn't chosen to be the model of the month. I know! I felt disappointed just like all of you too; but this things happens. So is just another rock in the road. LOL At least it got me some exposure and hey! my very first tear sheet. Not only that; it also showed me that I have so much support and love from so many people! :-) THANK YOU TO ALL!!!!!!
 

My Body Progress Thanks to ANS!

Just like I mentioned in my previous post; I've been struggling in getting in better shape. I know! I know! Must of you out there had told me that I don't need to be in great shape... but honestly I have to. How many castings I've gone and don't get the job because I don't have a 6 pack abs? So the truth is I need to have a body that is fit and in shape. Not really into getting big and bulky, but to get lean muscle and ripped. Still be able to do fashion and throw in some underwear/swimwear shoots too. So after so much frustration.... one day I go to Advance Nutrition Store located here in Celebration and met the owner (Alexis)... after a few weeks he told me I was talking the wrong combination of supplements...oopsss!!!!!! LOL So thanks to him, he gave me a diet, supplement, and workout plan. In August 30, I started my new workout routine with Alexis and it's been great! Two weeks after that, our mutual friend, Ramon joined us and that's how Team ANS became to be. I haven't reached my desired goal of 170 lbs of lean ripped muscle... but the progress has been great. My weight was 150 lbs in August 30; my current weight is 137.5 lbs. Starting this week I'm starting to do a more intense weight lifting workout to help get light bulk and also help my abs to come out. Can't wait to see the result at the end of the week. Very excited that I'm looking good for next photo shoot.

Welcome to my Official Blog!!!!










I created this blog with the purpose to share my experience and progress in my modeling career. I became interested in modeling since 2006, when an ex-model agent approach me and asked me if I ever considered being a model. At that time I was very surprised, but listened to his pointers. I mentioned this to my friend Adrian and suggested me to do it...he also offered to be my photographer and get a portfolio started. After that I started to work with various photographers and with each experience I learned something new. I always try to re-invent myself, have different looks (be versatile)...but always struggled with getting in great shape. But recently I met the owner (Alexis) of Advance Nutrition Store here in the Town of Celebration, FL and told him my goals. On August 2010, Alexis created a diet, supplement, and workout plan to follow; since then I've been noticing changes in my body. This month will have a photo shoot with Photographer Jeffrey Rich from Orlando, FL...even though I wont reach my desire goal for this shoot...I will definitely look great and ready for this shoot. Can't Wait!!!!
